BALLETTSCHULE THEATER BASEL
(BTB)
Bruno Raco began playing for ballet classes at the Ballettschule Theater Basel in August 2012. Since this time, his music has been an inspiration to students and teachers alike. His ability to find exactly the right piece of music to play for each exercise, not only inspires, it also enables the teachers to bring across the essence of the exercise and supports the students to do their very best. I have had the pleasure of working with many excellent pianists over the last 20 years, but Bruno Raco is the person who has consistently understood my class and allowed me to bring what I feel is important, to the students.
I feel privileged to have had him play for my classes.
A person of the highest integrity both professionally and personally, he has been an important member of the team from the first day. He has always supported his colleagues and is always ready to step and help in case of illness or emergency. Due to his generosity, we were able to conduct Zoom classes with our students during Covid with live music.
Unfortunately, the Ballettschule Theater Basel will close at the end of June 2023 due to lack of financial support. For this reason, Mr. Raco will leave our employment. It has been my great honor to work with him and I deeply regret, that due to the BTB closure, our collaboration will not continue. Bruno Raco will be a great asset to any organization and I hope that I too, will be able to work with him again in the future.
Should you require any further information please feel free to contact me at any time.
Sincerely,
Amanda Bennett
BTB Director
